2009 is turning out to be a year of change and surprise for the Corona Gourd Company family. Baby Delilah is now an energetic toddler, happily exploring everything in her world. We are excited that she will be big sister in the fall - another baby is on the way! We have also done some extensive remodeling at our home, including a brand new kitchen. It's beautiful and we love it, but all this has left very little time for getting out to the art shows and festivals. We have really missed connecting with our art friends both old and new during this time. We did recently exhibit some pieces at the Bookapalooza event at the Corona Public Library. Also coming up is the Artist of the Year show at the Corona Art Association Art House. Winner Jill Jones has graciously opened her show to new (those who joined since 2006) members of the association and this includes us, so we will have some gourd art on exhibit. Last December, we celebrated the second anniversary of the Corona Gourd Company. In 2007, the local newpaper printed a fun article about us at our first anniversary - we were so excited to open the paper and see our picture! Check out the link below! You can even download a podcast with the story!
